Where young women can go for help
Like Your Body is a readable and fun way to address these issues.
Why?
YWCA and Y-Dub work to advocate for, empower and inspire young women. It is well known that body image issues and eating disorders affect a large number of women. Like Your Body is a resource that empowers young women to think about their bodies in a positive way and provides them with lots of places to go for help if they are having problems with body image.
It is a useful resource for schools, counsellors, youth health centres and other medical centres to provide for young women. It is important to get this message out to as many young women as possible!

Who?
Like Your Body is aimed at young women between the ages of 10 and 17 years. This does not mean that the messages don’t transfer to women and men of all ages; but the booklet focuses on young women because they are most likely to have body image problems.
Where?
Like Your Body is a FREE resource provided by YWCA of Aotearoa New Zealand and funded by the Todd Foundation. You can order your booklets by emailing us on info@ywca.org.nz
